God is already in your next season, holding open the door and waiting for you to arrive. You might not know where you are headed, but He does—and that's where you have to keep your focus.

Every single time a self-doubting or fearful thought enters your mind, realize it, reject it, and replace it with faith.

For the first time in the history of our country the majority of our people believe that the next five years will be worse than the past five years.

As a follower of Jesus through faith in Him, the Holy Spirit is your only hope of ever consistently acting like a man. He is the courage to make right choices, the guide toward truth and away from error, the source of our comfort, and the provider of our strength. His primary tool is the Word of God.

The marquee scrolling across our minds trying to reinterpret life reads: "God-Against-Us." This becomes the dominant lens through which our flesh interprets life. We no longer give our loving Father the benefit of the doubt. Instead, we view every event as conclusive proof that God is against us.

A soul that is happy in the things of God can overcome tremendous obstacles.

My very addictive personality and all sorts of strongholds are a thing of the past for me. Yet at the root of every single one of those issues was insecurity, something I had battled since childhood.

We're often ashamed of asking for so much help because it seems selfish or petty or narcissistic, but I think, if there's a God - and I believe there is - that God is there to help. That's what God's job is.
