Hide yourself in Me wherever you feel the darkness encroaching.

It is not so much adverse events that make you anxious as it is your thoughts about those events. Your mind engages in efforts to take control of a situation, to bring about the result you desire.

If I do lead you up the cliffs, I will equip you thoroughly for that strenuous climb. I will even give My angels charge over you, to preserve you in all your ways. Keep your mind on the present journey, enjoying My Presence.

Even when you are feeling anxious, thank Me for the gift of My Peace.

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

The top two lines on every prophet's job description look like this: Speak openly and clearly about what God is for. Speak openly and clearly about what God is against. The third and fourth lines look like this: I [God] am with you. Have courage. (But you may have to duck or die.)

This is not a time for fear, brethren, but rather a time for faith - a time for each of us who holds the priesthood to be his best self.

To be sane in a mad time is bad for the brain, worse for the heart.

There wasn't a time where I felt fearful that I couldn't make the best decisions possible.

You know what this is, I suppose. Religious melancholia. Stop while there is time. If you dive, you dive into insanity.

Once every seven days, do something that frightens you. Every time we do something that we resist and is frightening, we actually grow in our power.
