God acts positively toward his people. God is not indifferent. He is not rejecting. He is not ambivalent or dilatory. He does not act arbitrarily, in fits and starts. He is not stingy, providing only for bare survival.

Spontaneities offer one kind of pleasure and taste of sanctity, repetitions another equally pleasurable and holy.

The central reality for Christians is the personal, unalterable, persevering commitment God makes to us. Perseverance is not the result of our determination, it is the result of God's faithfulness.

Prayer Father God, there are times when we have felt that things have been taken away and stolen from us by the Enemy. Thank You that You sent Your Son Jesus to redeem our lives, to restore us, revive us, and renew us. Thank You for never forgetting us, no matter what our circumstances may tell us. Thank You for always loving us. We praise You for who You are, for all You have done and all You will do in our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen.

God is not looking for men of great faith, He is looking for common men to trust His great faithfulness.

Teach yourself to thankfully receive all that God gives you as evidence of His love and faithfulness, and then you'll find it easier to trust Him next time.

God's perfect, unconditional love and faithfulness are what brought me through all of the healing, restoration and breakthroughs I desperately needed so I could become what He created me to be!

In His tender mercies, God has an incredible capacity to love the unlovely.

God's love never ceases. Never. Though we spurn him. Ignore him. Reject him. Despise him. Disobey him. He will not change. Our evil cannot diminish his love. Our goodness cannot increase it. Our faith does not earn it anymore than our stupidity jeopardizes it. God doesn't love us less if we fail or more if we succeed. God's love never ceases.1

Sweet Jesus, you did not forget me when I forgot you. Thank you for singing your song of grace into my life over and over again. Give me the wisdom to see your work in all circumstances. In your precious name I pray, amen.
