The Bible specifically states that sin cannot be blamed on how God made us. "When tempted, no one should say 'God is tempting me' " (Jas. 1:13). God wants us to come to terms with our sin and embrace the solution He has provided that can save us from judgment.

Are we so childish (I do not say childlike) as to think that a God who could scheme a Jesus-plan would lead poor pilgrims into situations they could not bear?

God makes the assignments, and he apportions the degree of difficulty in precise measurements.

It is our response to temptation that leads us down the path of righteousness or into the dead end of disobedience.

One of the important things about temptation is, if I'm going to deal with it I'm going to have to recognize, this is an area of weakness in my life. I have been tempted here before and before and before.
