Indeed, we have all received grace after grace from His fullness. John 1:16

How terribly we cheat ourselves when we have as much as we want from God. Although many of us have received the gift of salvation, in other ways, we are not unlike some of the Jews Paul encountered. We mimic the words of Felix and sometimes hold up our hand to God and say, "That's enough. That's all I'm comfortable with" (see Acts 24:25).

It is God who is working in you, enabling you both to will and to act for His good purpose. Philippians 2:13

My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

God, I thank You for all You have given me. I pray for Your continued blessings, provision, and protection. I pray Your presence will always be with me wherever I go and no matter what happens. Thank You that You are pleased to share Yourself and Your kingdom with me. Enable me to give back to You by helping and blessing others.

I think God's blessing might have everything to do with Him and His riches, and nothing to do with whether we deserve it.

We are to be catch basins for the fullness of God. Like a freshly running spring, we are to overflow and let our lives touch the lives of those around us.

After having been for a while at Hampton, I found myself in difficulty because I did not have books and clothing. Usually, however, I got around the trouble about books by borrowing from those who were more fortunate than myself.

The truth is that God can do anything He pleases through an ordinary person who is fully dedicated to Him.

The truth is: We serve a generous God. He delights in giving us opportunities beyond our capabilities. He has promised to equip us, and remain with us through each bend in the road.

Don't grow accustomed to living with less, doing less, and being less to the point that you eventually sit back and accept it.
