I had a boom box with a dual cassette deck and a mic, so I used to make pause tapes. I think a lot of people started like that because it was all I had. I would just take rap records that I liked and just loop the beat by pressing pause and record and make, like, five minutes of these beats.

I believe God wants you to have money to pay your bills, send your kids to college and do charity work and build orphanages. There's the teaching that we're supposed to be poor to show that we're humble. I don't buy that. I think we're supposed to be leaders. We're supposed to excel.

This is now your daily bread. It will never be withheld from you. You may eat as much and as often as you like. There is no end to My love.

Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success. A whole, clear, glorious life lies before you. Achieve! Achieve!

To achieve all that is possible, we must attempt the impossible. To be all we can be, we must dream of being more.

If you think about shortages, you're going to attract more shortage! If you think about what's missing, you're going to attract more of what's missing in your life.

But where sin abounded, grace superabounded.

Now is no time to think of what you do not have. Think of what you can do with what there is.

Why? Why did God provide me with more than I need?

That is the joyful task of every follower of Jesus. Someday may it be written about me on my tombstone: He was so amazed by God's grace that he couldn't keep it to himself.

You never get a blessing for yourself. You get a blessing to bless others. In the words of the black church, "a blessing can't get to you unless it first can go through you." We are blessed to bless.
