Sometimes we get caught up in trying to glorify God by praising what He can do and we lose sight of the practical point of what He actually does do.

This might sound odd, but I believe that one of the biggest reasons there are so many negative perceptions of Christianity and the church is that Christians hang out with each other too much.

As you have learned through my own story, it is real people just doing their best to follow Jesus who end up making the biggest impact on the world.

Character is supreme in life, hence Jesus stood supreme in the supreme thing - so supreme that, when we think of the ideal, we do not add virtue to virtue, but think of Jesus Christ, so that the standard of human life is no longer a code but a character.

What a way to walk through life: entering every environment with every intention to shine as little light as possible on me and as much light as possible on the Son of God.

God's glory matters more than anything. If people don't know how great and gracious and good He is, how will they not choose something of lesser value? How will they know He's better than everything else if they don't see Him on display in someone like you?

God wants our lives to be significant!
