We are called to obey Christ. He is the Master of our lives and has washed us in His blood, which cleanses our souls, our minds, and our mouths. The world is watching. What do they see and hear?

We must do our best to answer—with gentleness and respect—any question we're asked, even if we think it isn't sincere or is only meant to put us on the spot. But the most important thing we can do is to show by our life and love that Jesus is real. Our actions often speak far louder than our words. Do others see Christ in you, both in what you say and in what you do?

We are the Bibles the world is reading; We are the creeds the world is needing; We are the sermons the world is heeding.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

When the church lives out its mission, it will be founded on the gospel, evidence true discipleship, positively impact society, and become the body of Christ in whatever cultural context it develops. Ministry will be done. Jesus will be worshiped as supreme above all else.

No man, who continues to add something to the material, intellectual and moral well-being of the place in which he lives, is left long without proper reward.

The one thing that is most worth living for—and dying for, if need be—is the opportunity of making some one else more happy and more useful.

My experience teaches me that if a man has little or no influence with those by whose side he lives, as a rule there is something wrong with him.
