Wherever you go, let Christ be your refuge. Put your hope in Him, and you won't be disappointed by what life offers.

I was learning to recognize when God was speaking through someone. He repeats himself. He says it over and over because we are so stubborn, stupid and unwilling. And even scared. Even when he tells us not to be afraid, we set our minds about it, worrying and fretting about every little thing. I was shaken by what God expected us to do.

Search all you will for retribution or meaning to your life, but until you find God, you live in vain.

I'd rather see your honest pain than a brave front.

If I provide for this life and turn away from the Lord, I am wise for a moment, but lost forever.

God always answers, in His time, not in yours. You'll know what you're supposed to do when the time comes.

Come away with me and be my wife." She gave a harsh laugh. "If you want a wife, send for one by mail, or wait for the next wagon train to cross the mountains." He came toward her. "I can give you a good life. I don't care how you got here or where you've been before. Come with me now.

It will all work out as it should.

Don't trust in your own strength. None of us is strong in him or herself. It's the Lord who upholds us.

Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions... Keep me from lying to myself... Help me abandon my shameful ways... I believe in your commands; now teach me good judgment and knowledge.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. PSALM 139:23-24

Lord God of heaven and earth, I beg You to give me the confidence of Joshua. Instill in me Your purpose. Do not let me weaken. You are God and there is no other!
