We live by faith or we do not live at all. Either we venture or we vegetate. If we venture, we do so by faith, simply because we cannot know the end of anything at its beginning. We risk marriage on faith or we stay single. We prepare for a profession by faith or we give up before we start. By faith, we move mountains of opposition or we're stopped by molehills.

Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart for God now accepteth thy works.N.B. Eat, Drink and be merry. See also Luke 1219

To play it safe is the most risky decision we could make. To risk is the safest decision we can make with God. No matter the short-term implications, we must obey God with reckless abandon.

We do not see the divine intervention for which we yearn in our country because we think it is for us and our needs rather than an impetus for God's mission.

Human beings are very unbalanced and prone to go off on tangents. In every area of life- with too great emphasis on one thing, leaving out another important thing altogether. None of us will ever be perfectly balanced in our spiritual lives, our intellectual lives, our emotional lives, our family lives, in relationships with other human beings, or in our business lives. BUT WE ARE CHALLENGED TO TRY, WITH THE HELP OF GOD. We are meant to live in the scriptures.

If you pick 'em up, O Lord, I'll put 'em down.
