God is good, Rae. Men have free will and often do evil. God has freewill and constantly chooses to do good. That's the difference between us. God is good. Men have a bent toward evil that won't change unless we appeal to God to take us in hand and make us good again. And since only a small fraction of men ever think it worth laying down their will to ask for God's goodness instead, we end up with days like this.

I think trusting that God is good is one of the hardest steps there is to take. We get conditioned to expect to be let down. We get conditioned to not trust, because we trusted and we get burned. We get conditioned to be reserved and not take things at face value because we've learned nothing is ever at face value in life.

Jesus pointed at the Father and said that's life, to know that God who is absolutely perfect and good and loving; and it's an abundant life to trust and obey Him. Jesus knew the Father was the one person we could have a relationship with who wouldn't let us down. And that is the key thing necessary for having a good life: a relationship with Jesus and with God the Father.

Happiness is a continuation of happenings which are not resisted.

Whatever relationships you have attracted in your life at this moment, are precisely the ones you need in your life at this moment. There is a hidden meaning behind all events, and this hidden meaning is serving your own evolution.

Holding on to anything is like holding on to your breath. You will suffocate. The only way to get anything in the physical universe is by letting go of it. Let go & it will be yours forever.

Instead of asking "what's the problem?" ask "what's the creative opportunity?

At the moment you consciously make a choice, pay attention to your body and ask your body, "If I make this choice, what happens?" If your body sends a message of comfort, that's the right choice. If your body sends a message of discomfort, then it's not the appropriate choice.

When you are ready, guidance will come. Rely on the people who are in your life now; face your dark energies as honestly as you can; respect your boundaries and those of everyone around you. As you peel back each layer of the onion, the teacher who can lead you on will show up, almost miraculously matching the very moment when guidance is needed.

The Law of Least Effort Put every effort into organizing your life, but remember that the ultimate organizer is Nature. Don't try to steer the river. When Nature is most productive and creative, it does not work... it plays. The best work flows from us effortlessly. Putting up resistance to life ultimately never succeeds. Allow the gifts of spirit to come to you.

When our internal reference point is the ego or self-image, we feel cut off from our source, and the uncertainty of events creates fear and doubt.
