We have got to make disciples. Fun nights and pizza nights are not going to sustain us.

The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things.

Leadership is the process of motivating, mobilizing, resourcing, and directing people to passionately and strategically pursue a vision from God that a group jointly embraces.

Management is the process of assuring that the program and objectives of the organization are implemented. Leadership on the other hand has to do with casting vision and motivating people.

A fundamental responsibility of leadership is make sure that everybody knows the mission, understands it, lives it.

Apostolic ministry is not just about founding new churches and movements; it is as much about the renewal of existing organizations, that is, helping the church retain its primal movemental nature and stay vibrant. And so it has ongoing relevance for established churches as well.

Inclusive, good-quality education is a foundation for dynamic and equitable societies.

The Church does not need brilliant personalities but faithful servants of Jesus and the brethren. Not in the former but in the latter is the lack.

Anyone who is to find Christ must first find the church. How could anyone know where Christ is and what faith is in him unless he knew where his believers are?
