Yahweh never promised that your life would be without problems. But meditate on what He has promised. Let it be your strength. God will never leave you or forsake you. He commands you not to be afraid, so to be fearful is to doubt God. And that is a sin.

As I just told Miriam, we'll die a hundred times before the day finally comes if we give in to fear.

Find that courageous yes. Fight for that confident no.

Outside our comfort zone, though, is where we experience the true awesomeness of God.

When the world beats you down, open up your Bible.

Yes, Lord. I want Your patience to invade my desire to fly off the handle." "Yes, Lord. I want Your perspective to keep my emotions in check." "Yes, Lord. I want Your provision so things don't seem so overwhelming." "Yes, Lord. I want Your courage to do what I feel You calling me to do." "Yes, Lord. I want and need more of You in every moment.

Sometimes it's easier to overcome a fall and a break than the fear of failure.

Comfort zones don't have to be comfortable--they're just familiar. It's where you feel like you belong. And, where you feel you belong is where you will stay.

The more we really believe the truths God calls us to believe, the more we will take chances with God.

Fear makes the gap between where I am and trusting God seem an impossible chasm.

Victory is possible, sisters, not by figuring out how to make this an easy process, but by choosing - over and over and over again - the absolute power available through God's truth.

How we spend our souls matter...We have to desire to become fearless with these moments [of decision]. Fight through the doubt and discouragement and awkwardness of new. (32)
