Likewise, controversy helps to bring purity by removing the cowards. The Lord listed cowards along with unbelievers, the abominable, murderers, the immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and liars who will have their part in the lake of fire (see Revelation 21:8). Cowardice has no place in the kingdom of God, for true faith is characterized by courage.

The moral climate is dramatically shifting, as Scripture prophesied it would at the conclusion of the age. But we who refuse to make room for compromise in our faith must hold our position with confidence, understanding that we have been ordained by God to live in this hour. We were chosen for this moment to demonstrate victorious living in Jesus Christ — by His all-sufficient grace — in a world that has run amuck.

We will plant our feet firmly on the solid rock of God's Word and refuse to be moved by spirits of seduction that are luring the rest of the world into deception offered in a myriad of forms.

It's our responsibility to determine to use our sound minds, hold fast to the Scriptures, and refuse to budge from God's truth.
