Our generation has learned to hold to the standard of each other instead of the standard of God. That is the travesty: God is no longer the standard; we are.

Kingdom citizenship is a spiritual reality, but it is also a mentality. As believers, we already have the Spirit of God, but we need to learn the mind and the heart of God.

Don't accept your present state in life as final, because it is just that, a state.

People who changed the world have declared independence from other people's expectations.

We are products of our culture and interpret the world through our mental conditioning.

The picture that we have of ourselves—our self-concept—will always determine how we respond to life.

Define their worth based on God's purpose, rather than society's roles. Learn God's vision for their lives. Continue to live in the truth of who they were created to be.

Words are an extension of our thoughts, but we are our thoughts. Proverbs 23:7 says, "As [a man] thinks in his heart, so is he" (nkjv). God desires not to talk to you, but to "think" to you. This is what Jesus meant when He said, "I do what I see My Father doing" (John 5:19). The text implies, "I do what I mentally see My Father thinking.

To maximize your life you must declare independence from the opinions of others.
