Once we acknowledge that God is the main character, only then can we even begin to get to that place where we're no longer tempted to let our emotions drive us.

But the Bible teaches us that our heart deceives us and is desperately wicked. At its core, our heart is all about self—not Christ. It's about what's temporary—not eternal. It's about what's easy—not what's right. It's obsessed with what we want—not what God wants.

Rather than continuing on the normal sexual path toward pain, emptiness, and idolatry, you can allow God to heal you, change the way you think, and place deliberate safeguards in your life to protect you.

When something small loudly demands all our attention, its noise often drowns out the whisper of what's enormously important.

We are far from perfect but willing to be different.

Face your fears by remembering the power of God's cleaning truth. To change the way you are, change the way you think.

Maybe we should think about whether some imperfections might be a good thing. Maybe we should consider whether we're trying too hard to smooth all the rough edges.

Renew your mind by washing it with truth: God's Word.

When it's clear that we have a commitment to God that comes before anything else in our lives, most people will respect us even if they don't share our faith.

The current of normalcy will pull you away from God at every opportunity if you let it.

You are not what your parent, coach, teacher, grandparent, or the bully at school said you were or made you feel like.

If you want to be different, if you want to be better than normal, then you must live differently.
