Satan is a planner and a user. He seeks opportunities to use people to fulfill his plan.

One way the enemy of our souls deflects the shame he experienced at the Cross is to keep us too heaped in our own shame to notice his. The tragedy is that we play right along, as if he were more believable than Jesus.

When you need to set boundaries . . . They are the kind [of people] who work their way into people's homes and win the confidence of vulnerable women who are burdened with the guilt of sin and controlled by various desires. 2 TIMOTHY 3:6

The primary means Satan employs to put volume to his accusing voice is by using no small list of willing humans. We are by nature a merciless, condemning lot. Far more would burn in eternal flames under our judgment than under that of a holy and righteous God. Know the truth so thoroughly and respond to conviction so readily that when accusations come, you can resist the devil, no matter whose voice grants him volume.

When they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word sown in them. Mark 4:15

Satan is an opportunist.

Satan still takes advantage of women and men, seizing their powers of influence for his own purposes.

I fear that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your minds may be corrupted from a complete and pure devotion to Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3

Simon, Simon, look out! Satan has asked to sift you like wheat. But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. Luke 22:31—32

The accuser of our brothers has been thrown out: the one who accuses them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10

Then they may come to their senses and escape the Devil's trap, having been captured by him to do his will. 2 Timothy 2:26

My friend, I am "jealous" for you to enjoy God. I want God to be the greatest reality in your life. I want you to be more assured of His presence than any other you can see or touch. This can be your reality. This is your right as a child of God. We were destined for this kind of relationship with God, but the enemy tries to convince us that the Christian life is sacrificial at best and artificial at worst.
