Surely, conversion is a matter between man and his Maker who alone knows His creatures' hearts.

What is God looking for? He is looking for men and women whose hearts are completely His - completely.

Sincerity carries the soul in all simplicity to open its heart to God.

We must, by God's grace, embody the vision. If not, we are duplicitous.

3But You, O LORD, dknow me; You have seen me, And You have etested my heart toward You.

We can worship God imperfectly, but we cannot worship him insincerely.

Watch your motive before God have no other motive in prayer than to know Him.

To understand God's thoughts, one must study statistics, for these are the measure of His purpose.

The Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. PSALM 139:23-24

Michael had been something new to him, too. He was one of those rare men who lived what he believed, not once in a while, but every hour of every day, even when the going wasn't easy. As gentle a man as he was, as tender as was his heart, there was nothing weak about Michael Hosea. He was the strongest-minded man Joseph had ever met. A man like Noah. A man like the shepherd-king, David. A man after God's own heart.

We don't want to merely obey God: we need to catch His heart. It is then we will glimpse the wisdom behind His directives, and not just see them as laws.
