If we simply ask God, He will deliver us from the pain of our past mistakes and create in us a steadfast spirit. But while we do not have to do anything to receive God's deliverance, we can miss out on blessings if we run away from our problems without letting God bring us through them.

We need to learn to enjoy each day and every moment. Even when circumstances are difficult, if we can rejoice and be thankful in "this," whatever "this" situation may be, we will grow in spiritual maturity and we will be happier, more peaceful people.

Trust in Him This trial is temporary. Your season will change. You can trust this important truth. Take a deep breath and thank God for the season you're currently in, as well as the season He's bringing you into.

There are some things that we can do something about, but there are a whole lot of things that we can't do anything about. If it is something we can't do anything about, then we need to let it go and keep our joy. We need to hold our peace - and our tongues - do what is right, and let God work on our behalf.

The pathway to freedom from negativity begins when we face the problem and believe God will work good out of it.

Being positive in a positive situation is easy. Anyone can do that. But when we are positive in a negative situation, it shows a genuine trust in God and a spiritual maturity that pleases and glorifies God.

I am concerned about the things in my life that still need to change because I want them to change. But I know that change comes about by degrees as I go from glory to glory. Most people are so busy trying to move on to the next level of glory that they don't enjoy the level they are in at the moment. Enjoy

Occasionally we see "shooting stars" in ministry—people who come out of seemingly nowhere and practically overnight are known worldwide, usually because they happened to get in with a certain group of people who had an ability to open doors for them. Rarely do their ministries last. They often get into trouble financially or morally because character is built during the hard times of waiting, but they didn't go through that character-building time.

Even when things are coming against me and things aren't working out the way I'd like, I still want to display the character of Jesus Christ.
