God is perfectly holy and without sin. And to be in relationship with sin would be in violation of his nature.

Preferring the comforting messages of certain attributes of God, our lives have become a trifling with His holiness. We desperately need to regain this view of the highness and the holiness of God. His holiness is the ultimate clarity.

God is not going to negotiate His holiness... in order to accommodate us.

The failure of modern evangelicalism is the failure to understand the holiness of God.

Only when we understand the holiness of God will we understand the depth of our sin.

Holy is the way God is. To be holy He does not conform to a standard. He IS that standard.

The Life of true holiness is rooted in the soil of awed adoration.

And so the Holiness of God is that infinite Perfection by which He keeps Himself free from all that is not Divine, and yet has fellowship with the creature, and takes it up into union with Himself, destroying and casting out all that will not yield itself to Him.
