Can we really love our neighbors well without loving ourselves?

Lord Jesus, help me love well like you.

I don't argue when people say that my message is simple, but I believe Jesus' message was simple. Jesus didn't go around condemning people.

Learn how to carry a friendship greatly, whether or not it is returned. Why should one regret if the receiver is not equally generous? It never troubles the sun that some of his rays fall wide and vain into ungrateful space, and only a small part on the reflecting planet. Let your greatness educate the crude and cold companion. If he is unequal, he will presently pass away; but thou art enlarged by thy own shining.

arts become frivolous. Science grows cold and inhumane. There are no heroes, only celebrities. Social bonds are broken. People no longer care for each other, but only for what they can get from each other.

excuses are nothing more than a way to deceive ourselves and justify doing nothing. You will come alive like never before if you will aggressively reach out to others. Let us not forget the words of Jesus: "I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another" (John 13:34). Without a doubt, this is our purpose and the will of God for our lives.

Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. 1 Peter 4:8

It is God's job to judge; it is our job to share His love.

Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Philippians 2:1—2, NLT
