The work we do is only our love for Jesus in action...If we pray the work...if we do it to Jesus, if we do it for Jesus, if we do it with Jesus...that's what makes us content.

Though we are involved in social work, our goal is to be contemplatives at the heart of the world. We are with Jesus twenty-four hours a day. We do everything for Jesus. We do it all unto Jesus.

See only that thou work and thou canst not escape the reward.

Together we shall move forward doing [the Lord's] work

The work is demanding, the impact everlasting. This is no time for 'summer soldiers' in the army of the Lord.

Nothing under the sun can be as dry and flat and tedious and exhausting as religious work without the wonder.

Toil on, and in thy toil rejoice; For toil comes rest, for exile, home; Soon shalt thou hear the bridegroom's voice, The midnight peal: "Behold, I come."

His famous, soul-stirring "I have a dream" speech will still give you chills and break your heart today. Decades later, long after his life on earth tragically ended, the legacy of his burden lives on, improving lives for generations to come. All because one man allowed his burden to birth a dream.

A little act of service. Is it possible that all service is worship? The words were still in my head.

It must be good to die in the knowledge that one has done some truthful work...and to know that, as a result, one will live on in the memory of at least a few and leave a good example for those who come after.

Value people. Praise effort. Reward performance.
