Nowadays we often ask ourselves whether we still need the Church, whether we still need God. But this question, he said, is wrong. We are the ones who are questioned. The Church exists and God exists, and we are asked whether we are willing to be of service, for God needs us.

Although I know full well and hear every day that many people think little of me and say that I only write little pamphlets and sermons in German for the uneducated laity, I do not let that stop me. Would to God that in my lifetime I had, to my fullest ability, helped one layman to be better!

Live so that when the final summons comes you will leave something more behind you than an epitaph on a tombstone or an obituary in a newspaper.

True love does not demand a reward, but it deserves one.

Ministry is being one of theses sent out ones, a labourer of love.

Mercy to the needy is a loan to God, and God pays back those loans in full.

The men and women that have served this country, I'm forever indebted to them.

Though we may not necessarily forfeit our lives in service to our God, we can certainly demonstrate our love for Him by how well we serve Him.

Whatever avenue I feel like I can make a difference in, I'd love to do.

Hear Jesus as a family and serve Him. Care about people and love people.
