History doesn't mean dates and wars and textbooks to me; it means the unconquerable pioneer spirit of man.

The root of war is fear.

Bold and courageous and so full of life. She was adventure and zeal and added a brightness to his day.

You're seeing the world through your feelings. Not through truth. Not through God's eyes. If he's called you to something, he'll equip you, even if you don't know how.

Not everyone can have my level of adventure.

Fear had its own power, and the more I did nothing, the greater my fear would grow. But I had to remember two things. God made you the way he did for a reason. Go, be awesome.

Evil always seeks to betray. To destroy and separate and instill fear. And, on that day, evil won. But that doesn't mean we surrender the battle. We will not dishonor those who paid the ultimate price for freedom by giving up. Evil wants to shut you down. Shame you. Destroy your relationships. Keep you from being the person you can be. Don't let it.

Sometimes there's just no room for apologies.

What is qualified? What have I been qualified for in my life? I haven't been qualified to be a mayor. I'm not qualified to be a songwriter. I'm not qualified to be a TV producer. I'm not qualified to be a successful businessman. And so, I don't know what qualified means.

I'm afraid of everything. But maybe when you're afraid of everything, it sort of seems like you're scared of nothing.

Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn.
