The very ones whose social pressure cause you to compromise will despise you for it. They probably respect your convictions, and many of them wish they had the moral stamina to stand alone. May the Lord give you added courage to be a witness for Him, even in a hard place.

Fear can paralyze us and keep us from believing God and stepping out in faith. The devil loves a fearful Christian!

God does not discipline us to subdue us but to condition us for a life of usefulness and blessedness. In His wisdom, He knows that an uncontrolled life is an unhappy life, so He puts reins on our wayward souls that they may be directed into the paths of righteousness.

If we who have the Holy Spirit living and working within us falter and fail, what hope is there for the rest of the world?

Christ needs people today who are made of martyr stuff! Dare to take a strong, uncompromised stand for Him.

God can use the fear that grips the hearts of men today to point them to eternal truths—the truth of God's eternal judgment, and the truth of His eternal love.

Are your beliefs anchored in a faith that can withstand emotionalism, the drug culture, social and peer pressure, and material temptations? The world is seething with demonic energy. Only supreme inner strength can resist its ceaseless hassling.

Energy out of control is dangerous; energy under control is powerful . . .Science takes a Niagara River with its violent turbulence and transforms it into electrical energy to illuminate a million homes and to turn the productive wheels of industry. [God] does in the spiritual realm what science does in the physical realm.

The Holy Spirit gives liberty to the Christian, direction to the worker, discernment to the teacher, power to the Word, and fruit to faithful service. He reveals the things of Christ.

We face a dark time in the history of God's people . . . the forces of evil seem to be gathering for a colossal assault on the work of God in the world. In the darkest hour God can still revive His people, and by the Holy Spirit breathe new vigor and power into the body of Christ.

A great problem in America is that we have an anemic and watered-down Christianity that has produced an anemic, watered-down, and spineless Christian who is not willing to stand up and be counted on every issue.

When we are filled with the Spirit of God, obeying God, in His will and quoting Scripture, Satan will be defeated.
