Talk to the universe. Ask it for help. Then listen to your heart. Because that quiet voice, the one in your heart, is how the universe talks to you.

Today, God, help me relax and enjoy the scenery. Help me know I'm right where I need to be on my journey.

Let go of unrest. Let peace fill the void. We do not have to forfeit our power, our God-given personal power—or our peace—to do the work as we are called upon to do today. We will be given all the power we need to do what we are meant to do, when it is time. Let peace come first. Then proceed. The task will get done, naturally and on time. Today, I will identify what I want and need; then, I'll be willing to let go of it. I will devote my energy to living my life today, so I may master my lessons as quickly as possible. I will trust that what I want and need is coming to me. I will let go of my need to control the details.

Have no fear, child, a voice whispers. Have no regrets. Relinquish your resentments. Let Me take your pain. All you have is the present moment. Be still. Be here. Trust. All you have is now. It is enough.

Who we are right now is okay.

It made me wonder, if everyone is so connected to their phones-talking and texting and whatever else it is they do all day long-how do they ever have time to notice the beauty of God's creation all around them? How do they have time to connect to God?

It's times like these when we have to think on what is true...really meditate on it. We have a Savior who loves us. We have a Savior who gave His blood for us. And we can rest knowing, I mean really knowing that His Word is true. He will work all things together for those who love Him. We may not see it now, but eventually God will be glorified through all of this.

We have no idea how busy God's hands are even when His mouth seems closed. Where God is concerned, silence never equals slumber.

Anytime you are overwhelmed by what you do not know or understand about God, consider what you do know about Him. Your heart and mind will be quieted, and you will be able to walk in faith.
