My favorite affirmation when I feel stuck or out of sorts is: Whatever I need is already here, and it is all for my highest good. Jot this down and post it conspicuously throughout your home, on the dashboard of your car, at your office, on your microwave oven, and even in front of your toilets!

To find Me and hear My voice, you must seek Me above all else. Anything that you desire more than Me becomes an idol.

Do not let your to-do list (written or mental) become an idol directing your life. Instead, ask My Spirit to guide you moment by moment.

In order to know My will, you must spend time with Me— enjoying My Presence.

So much "stuff" keeps getting in the way of enjoying My Presence. You are worried and troubled about many things, but only one thing is needed. When you make Me that one thing, you choose what will never be taken away from you.

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 4:19

TRUST ME ENOUGH to spend ample time with Me, pushing back the demands of the day. Refuse to feel guilty about something that is so pleasing to Me, the King of the universe. Because I am omnipotent, I am able to bend time and events in your favor. You will find that you can accomplish more in less time, after you have given yourself to Me in rich communion. Also, as you align yourself with My perspective, you can sort out what is important and what is not.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." —MATTHEW 6:34

My main work is to clear out debris and clutter, making room for My Spirit to take full possession. Collaborate with Me in this effort by being willing to let go of anything I choose to take away. I know what you need, and I have promised to provide all of that—abundantly!

However, there is a better way to be prepared for whatever you will encounter today: Spend quality time with Me.

Seek Me first and foremost; then the rest of your life will fall into place, piece by piece.

It is impossible for you to have a need that I cannot meet.
