When the apostle James was talking about faith and works against those who thought their faith was enough, and didnt want to have good works, he said, You believe God is one; you do well; the demons also believe, and tremble.

The path into this eternal realm is faith—belief in, not about, Yeshua. Intimately knowing the father, not merely knowing about him with the mind. Even the devils know all about God and it profits them nothing. Even calling him Lord and doing many miraculous works in his name means little. Only knowing him intimately, as an infant knows.

For though consciences are as unlike as foreheads, every intelligence, not including the Scriptural devils who believe and tremble has one.

James 2:19- 'You believe there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that- and shudder.' God doesn't just want us to have good theology; He wants us to know and love Him.

The world is full of religions and religious people who don't know God. Religion can serve faith, but it doesn't substitute for faith, and it can never replace faith. Meaningful expressions of the heart, mind, and will become lifeless if they're not mixed with a deep and abiding faith.

Mohammed had invited the Jews and Christians to join him; for he was not building a new religion. He was calling all who believed in one God to join in a single faith.

I could recognize that those who thought about God had a good way of considering Him, and that those who believed in Him really believed in someone, and their faith was more than a dream.

THE theology of the devil is really not theology but magic. "Faith" in this theology is really not the acceptance of a God Who reveals Himself as mercy. It is a psychological, subjective "force" which applies a kind of violence to reality in order to change it according to one's own whims.

This should serve as a warning to anyone who thinks that God will accept anything we choose to bring as long as we're sincere.

You may have orthodox heads, and yet you may have the devil in your hearts.

Conservatives and liberals understand the Christian faith as a set of ideas because, so understood, Christianity seems to be a set of beliefs assessable to anyone upon reflection.

There have been men before now who got so interested in proving the existence of God that they came to care nothing for God Himself.
