Most folks don't see how important they are...how much they matter to all of us. So they never choose to do somethin' special wif their lives. And not makin' a choice? That is a choice...a lost one.

If the source were simply a few behavioral habits, you would have conquered them already.

Our tendency is to pray for miracles. But in most situations, it is more appropriate to pray for opportunities.

One gets to the place one wants to be the same way one got to the place one didn't want to be—by putting one foot in front of the other and moving in a specific direction.

It takes a habit to break a habit. You can pray every day for a generous heart, but until you start acting in that direction, nothing's going to change.
