Doing the right thing when it is not popular or when it is not going to get everyone's approval is not always easy, but I am convinced that if we truly care about other people, we will go ahead and take the risk anyway.

The devil wants to stop any believer from fulfilling his or her God-given destiny. He also knows that most believers feel almost invulnerable after a mountaintop experience with God. Actually, that's when we are most vulnerable because falling into sin is the last thing we're expecting. We're wise to expect times of testing after times of blessing.

O, Lord, You have made everything beautiful in Your time. You have also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet we cannot fathom what You have done from beginning to end. (Eccles. 3:11)

so that you won't become lazy, but imitators of those who inherit the promises through faith and perseverance. Hebrews 6:12

A seed needs planting in order to grow. It needs patience. If the seed was cast from the hand of God, he will surely sprout it, in his time, in his way. If it came from good human intentions, consider it no waste. It was a mortal's vocalized belief that you have something to offer, and while that person may prove mistaken about the precise form, that faith can act as fertilizer to the soil.

It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back. 2 Peter 2:21

God has reserved momentous victories and great rewards for us, but we'll never make it to our milestones if we can't make it through our moments.

Your fruit will outlast your life. You can't always see the effects, because they are eternal, but one day you will. One day you will see that you couldn't have been more significant if you'd tried.
