Many people criticize those who long to experience more in God, but I don't trust the ones who don't. We are not going to be kept free from deception by abandoning experience. In fact, the ones who do not hunger more for God are already deceived.

Anyone who doesn't have an experience with God, doesn't know God." He is a person, not a philosophy or a concept.

I can speak to my soul only when the two of us are off exploring deserts or cities or mountains or roads.

What you seek, you already are.

When you seek truth, you seek God whether you know it or not.

Anyone who seeks truth seeks God, whether or not he realizes it.

God rewards those who seek Him. Not those who seek doctrine of religion or systems or creeds. Many settle for these lesser passions, but the reward goes to those who settle for nothing less than Jesus himself. And what is the reward? What awaits those who seek Jesus? Nothing short of the heart of Jesus.

The wizard [of Oz] says look inside yourself and find self. God says look inside yourself and find [the Holy Spirit]. The first will get you to Kansas. The latter will get you to heaven. Take your pick.

David knew what mattered most. The presence of God. He begged God for it.

you will get to know God, his purpose for you, and his love for you like you never have before.

Ask the Lord for greater trust in the nearness of his presence today.
