Spending time with God through prayer and His Word is a prerequisite for having a great life and fulfilling your purpose.

It is more than just knowing facts about God. It is coming into a deeper personal relationship with Him as a result of seeking Him in the midst of our personal pain and discovering Him to be trustworthy.

Nobody knows what's in him until he tries to pull it out.

This is what the LORD says: "When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Follow that will and that way which experience confirms to be your own.

I am not sure how old I was when I began to worry about being saved, but it was sometime in my early teens.

The more you recover your authentic self, the more your destiny will unfold before your eyes. Just keep doing your inner work - that's the most essential thing.

God gives us just enough evidence so that those who want him can have him. Those who want to follow the clues will.

I have traveled the world. I have searched high and low. I have found nothing that satisfied my mind, my heart, and the deepest longings of my soul like Jesus does. He is not only the way the truth and the life; He is personal to me. He is my way, and my truth, and my life--just as He can be for anyone who reaches out to Him.

Only in a world where faith is difficult can faith exist. I don't have faith in two plus two equals four or in the noonday sun. Those are beyond question. But Scripture describes God as a hidden God. You have to make an effort of faith to find him. There are clues you can follow.

God gives us just enough evidence so that those who want him can have him. Those who want to follow the clues will. "The Bible says, 'Seek and you shall find.'9 It doesn't say everybody will find him; it doesn't say nobody will find him. Some will find. Who? Those who seek. Those whose hearts are set on finding him and who follow the clues.
